
Threaded flanges refer to flanges that are connected to pipes with threads. It can be handled as a loop flange during design. The advantage is that no welding is required, and the additional moment to the cylinder or pipe is very small when the flange is deformed. The disadvantage is that the thickness of the flange is large and the cost is high. It is suitable for the connection of high-pressure pipelines.
Threaded flange is a kind of non-welding flange. The inner hole of the flange is processed into pipe thread, which is matched with the threaded pipe to realize the connection. Compared with flat welding flanges or butt welding flanges, threaded flanges have the characteristics of convenient installation and maintenance, and can be used on some pipelines that do not allow welding. Alloy steel flanges have sufficient strength, but are not easy to weld, or the welding performance is not good, and threaded flanges can also be selected. However, when the temperature of the pipeline changes rapidly or the temperature is higher than 260°C and lower than -45°C, it is recommended not to use threaded flanges to avoid leakage.
The threaded flange is a non-welding flange, which processes the inner hole of the flange into a pipe thread and connects it with the threaded pipe. Considering the structural characteristics of the threaded flange, it is not suitable for flammable and explosive hazardous occasions. The applicable pressure of the threaded flange is 0.6-4.0Mpa, and the diameter is DN10-DN150. Except for the inner diameter thread size, the threaded flange is the same as the neck flat welding flange.

The threaded flange is not a high pressure flange, it is suitable for low pressure, such as engineering construction, air conditioning water system, etc., and can be used safely. Threaded flange is a kind of threaded product that people often say. For example, the pipe fittings on the domestic tap water are threads. They are very common in engineering construction, and have the advantages of convenient on-site installation, convenient maintenance, and no need for welding. It can be used on pipelines that do not allow welding, are difficult to weld, or have poor welding performance. Threaded flanges are not high pressure flanges. Standard threaded flanges are neck flanges. Except for the flange, the other dimensions are the neck flat welding flange, which is the same as the socket welding flange. One end of the threaded flange is connected to the pipe thread, and the other end is connected to other flanges, flange covers, equipment, valves, etc.
There are only two types of sealing surfaces for threaded flanges: full flat and convex. Our threaded flanges are suitable for imperial pipe series. The thread processing of the threaded flange inner hole pipe should make the tightened end of the steel pipe close to but not exceed the sealing surface of the flange piece. When the threaded flange adopts the 60-degree tapered pipe thread specified in GB/T12716, the outer diameter of the steel pipe used for the flange should be 73mm; the outer diameter of the steel pipe used for the flange should be 141.3mm. When using the pipe thread specified in GB7306, the outer diameter of the steel pipe used for the flange should be 165.1mm.
